In-House eDiscovery
Bringing eDiscovery capability in-house on a temporary or permanent basis often provides an opportunity to improve responsiveness and reduce costs. An in-house eDiscovery solution may include integration of hardware and software or securely integrating our cloud based solutions with our client’s systems.
Some of the problems we solve include:
- Implementation and integration of eDiscovery tools within enterprise IT operations
- Providing data storage, processor and network resources specialised for discovery tasks in project time frames
- Providing data and tools over the internet using an appropriate, graduated security solutions
- Keeping costs manageable
- Searching and processing large amounts of data within required time frames
- Finding relationships within data to improve search and analysis requirements
- Working within complex and secure networks to find data and minimise disruption to business as usual.
- Provision of proactive rather than reactive discovery capability
- Searching legacy backup tapes without access to backup and recovery software.
Tape and Legacy Storage eDiscovery
- Our technology is used to index the tape or storage content, de-duplicate the content and disregard common files that are typically software code.
- A searchable index is then made available to your organisation via our secure cloud.
- Upon analysis by the client, Sententia offer two main options for content delivery:
- Full extraction of the unique content or;
- Extraction of data culled for specific content or custodians (email users). Once the client identifies the specific relevant content (files, email, custodian mailboxes, etc.) this content can be tagged using a simple web browser interface to mark the files required for extraction from tape.
- Full extraction of the unique content or;
- The forensically sound extracted content is available for the user for review, through our secure cloud or copied onto desired media. No specialised hardware or software is required by the client.
Combining the cost effective Index Engines technology with the cloud allows this service to be delivered fast. This is typically less than the cost of a simple file listing provided by traditional restoration vendors which does not give any access to the tape contents.
